Allow us to scream a heart-rending cry as well as express our deepest sadness.
After Walter Van Beirendonck, one of the “7” of Antwerp, it is Christophe Coppens ‘turn to file a petition in bankruptcy after 20 years of creation.
Christohe Coppens whose clients were crown-head personalities and famous singers such as Lady Gaga, Grace Jones, Rihanna, had to face tremendous financial problems.
Hereafter, that is part of what he wrote to his contacts (…) “each link of the chain struggle due to the economic crisis, banks do not play their tasks as banks, manufacturers attempt to survive and cannot take any risk and so want to be paid at 100 % before delivery”

Christophe Coppens, surrealist stylist for hats and accessories had the talent to match keeness, elegance and humour.

These last days, bloggers could not but pay tribute to this exceptional designer.
We, also, we are willing to lend him for sure his letters patent of nobility for having carried high and far the colours of Belgium thanks his imaginary mind, his know-how.
